Forgetting the old trend of going through auto rickshaws,people usually hire a cab. Although going through cab is not pocket-friendly ,but the comfort is incomparable.
Many companies,which provide online cab services, have sprouted in the recent past. One such example is UBER. UBER is a company which provides cab services across various locations and has a specially designed app for getting a cab near you and letting you avail that facility,by dropping you to your desired location.
Although Uber is very customer friendly,but,on reading its terms and conditions, you’ll come across the fact that after booking of a ride, you will be charged some amount of money if you cancel the ride after 5 minutes. Here’s the twist. Sometimes the ride is cancelled by the driver and we get charged for it too. Many of us might be unaware of the fact that we can get that amount of money back if it has been cancelled by the driver. Here is what you need to do.
STEPS: –
STEP1. Open app and go to the menu.
STEP 2: click on “YOUR TRIPS”.
STEP 3: Click on the ride for which you have been charged the cancellation fee.
STEP 4: Scroll down to the help menu.
STEP 5: Click on “I WOULD LIKE A REFUND”.
STEP 6: Click “I WAS CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE”.
and you will receive a mail by Uber for such inconvenience and you’ll be charged less on your next ride.
